A VoIP firewall can be implemented to securely allow the continually changing requirements of the call server while opening and closing ports for connections. An IDS sensor can provide network monitoring for any network anomalies or potential abuses. The availability of your VoIP network is also reviewed because unlike your traditional POTS lines, a power loss could bring your network down.
